The battle for Vovchansk in Ukraine

Russian forces have gained ground in Kharkiv, a region that Ukraine had largely reclaimed in the months after Russia’s invasion in February 2022. Ukraine has been evacuating civilians from around Vovchansk, where Russian forces control 40% of the city.
